If You want to make money Put a Name to Your Business Idea

Your brand may be one of the most important elements for your business success.

About this matter I found an article in BusinessWeek where they recommended to look carefully this element of our business idea.

Our brand must be distinctive and easily remembered.

Bad names of brands are those that are difficult to pronounce or have no power of distinguish from other business.

Care must be taken in addition to cultural issues in the event that the word used as brand has a second meaning in other cultures.

You know for example that the founder of Toyota cars was called ToyoDA? As ToyoDa was not like a proper word phonetically, it was changed by ToyoTA that is much stronger.

Another example is a brand of vehicles that put their trucks the brand name “PAJERO” but culturally it has a different meaning in some Latin American countries so was changed by “MONTERO”.

If you are choosing a brand name for your business I advice you to make a brainstorming and get the opinion of your colleagues and friend. Obviosuly if you have money, hire an specialist in this matters.

Also you must check if this brand name is available, in other words if anyone else is using it. When you have the correct brand name, you must register and protect legally it.
